A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing happened last July 23, 2024 between Letran Calamba and National Commission for Culture and the Arts ( NCCA). The research grant is for a project entitled ’KAPISAN’ wherein it aims to craft a research-based policy framework for forming a guild for theater artists' social rights and welfare.
This was headed by the Rector and President, Rev. Fr. Napoleon M. Encarnacion, O.P. and NCCA representative, Director Edward Perez. Also present is the Senior Director of the Research Department, Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera and Arts Research and Training Institute in Southern Tagalog, Incorporated (ARTIST, Inc) representative, Dr. Levita A. Duhaylungsod.
