KAPISAN goes to CARAGA, Northern and Western Mindanao, and Eastern Visayas

The KAPISAN Research Project continued its series of focus group discussions on August 30, 2024, gathering representatives from 8 theater organizations from CARAGA, Northern and Western Mindanao, and 8 from Eastern Visayas. This collaborative endeavor, funded by the NCCA and executed in partnership with ARTIST, Inc., seeks to establish a research-based policy framework for the welfare of theater artists.

Mr. Roi Ivanne M. De Hitta, a Regional Coordinator from Letran Calamba, facilitated the focus group discussion with ARTIST, Inc. in CARAGA, Northern, and Western Mindanao, while Ms. Mary Grace S. Yanoria, Researcher from Letran Calamba conducted the FGD in Eastern Visayas with ARTIST, Inc. representative. Participants from esteemed theater organizations shared valuable insights on their distinct theater group features, practices, and challenges.
