Strengthening Ties: Letran Calamba, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region IV-A CALABARZON with National Nutrition Council (NNC) CALABARZON.

Letran Calamba, DOST Region IV-A CALABARZON, and NNC CALABARZON joined forces on January 10, 2025, signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to launch "NutriSys PH."  The key representatives from all three organizations, including Rev. Fr. Michael M. Sales, O.P. (Letran Calamba's VP for Finance), Mr. Francis R. Barquilla III and Engr. Jenny Ann Lawas (DOST CALABARZON), and NPC Lourdes Bulante-Orongan and NO III Julliene Louise C. Cuartero (NNC CALABARZON), were present for the signing. This funded research project “NutriSys PH”, led by Dr. Floricon V. Encabo (Letran Calamba's VP for Academics and Research), aims to empower local government units (LGUs) by developing an integrated information system for more effective management of nutrition programs. The "NutriSys PH" project team also includes Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera, Dr. Loriemel E. Ferrera, and Ms. Maria Morena M. Tamayo from Letran Calamba.
