KAPISAN goes to Central and Western Visayas, and Davao Region. Socsargen, BARMM

The KAPISAN Research Project continued its series of focus group discussions on August 31-September 1, 2024, gathering representatives from 6 theater organizations from Central Visayas, 8 from Western Visayas, and 7 from Davao Region, Socsargen, and BARMM. This collaborative endeavor, funded by the NCCA and executed in partnership with ARTIST, Inc., seeks to establish a research-based policy framework for the welfare of theater artists.

Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera (Project Director), Ms. Jeverlie M. Pascual (Writer), Ms. Maria Morena M. Tamayo (Writer), and Ms. Angelica L. Domingo (Regional Coordinator) from Letran Calamba conducted the FGD sessions with ARTIST, Inc. Participants from esteemed theater organizations shared valuable insights on their distinct theater group features, practices, and challenges.
