CHED-LAKAS (Leading the Advancement of Knowledge in Agriculture and Sciences) Artificial Intelligence - Natural Language Processing (AI-NLP) (Day 01)

The RD and other Letran Calamba representatives joined the CHED-LAKAS (Leading the Advancement of Knowledge in Agriculture and Sciences) Artificial Intelligence - Natural Language Processing (AI-NLP) Capacity Building to promote community participation and digital transformation in governance. The event was organized by NU - Dasmariñas Campus, CHED, and Bicol University.

The three-day lecture-workshop aims to help the participants enhance their knowledge about AI and develop AI applications. AI, when used properly and ethically, can be a useful tool that can make life in the academics easier. The resource speaker, Dr. Rodolfo C. Raga Jr. emphasized the importance and limitations in using AI tools. 

The participants are from the following Schools and Departments of the Colegio:

School of Computer Studies and Technology: Dr. Loriemel Ferrera, Ms. Glodelyn Ocfemia, and Ms. Lucita Gamboa.

School of Engineering and Architecture: Engr. Christopher Gonzales & Engr. Mike Julius Lorenzo 

Information and Technology Department: Mr. Victor Fernandez, Ms. Rosita Saito, & Ms. Keila Aragones

Research Department: Ms. Angelica Domingo

The participation of Letran Calamba in this activity is part of its continuous effort to fulfill its vision of becoming a hub of educational technology and innovation in the Asia-Pacific Region.
