The KAPISAN Research Project commenced its series of focus group discussions on August 17, 2024, gathering representatives from 7 theater organizations in Northern Luzon. This collaborative endeavor, funded by the NCCA and executed in partnership with ARTIST, Inc., seeks to establish a research-based policy framework for the welfare of theater artists. Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera (Project Director) and Ms. Mary Grace S. Yanoria (Researcher) from Letran Calamba conducted the FGD with ARTIST, Inc. Participants from esteemed theater organizations shared valuable insights on their distinct theater group features, practices, and challenges.
