Systems Development Unit

The Systems Development Unit is the unit in charge for the development of the Colegio's in-house developed systems known as the Letran Calamba School System or LSS.

It supports all implemented systems and addresses academic and non-academic system customization needs and third-party software concerns. It also provides a complete system and technical documentation and user training.

Information Technology Support Unit

The IT Technical Support Unit is the unit managing the offices' computer repair and maintenance, and network administration, wifi configuration, software installation, and online learning technical related concerns in the Colegio.

This unit also oversees the servers and desktops, and safekeeps, evaluates, and implements software licenses of the Colegio.

Moreover, it offers IT technical support to all Letran Calamba personnel, students, and alumni.

Educational Technology Unit

The Educational Technology Unit (EdTech) is responsible in providing support in the selection, application, and development of learning strategies through technology. One of EdTEch Unit’s commitments is to empower all end-users in utilizing, maximizing, and improving one’s performance through the Colegio’s Learning Management Systems (LMS) and collaboration tools.

 

KNIGHTMAIL, MS OFFICE 365/MS TEAMS, AND CANVAS FAQS

What should I do if I forgot my password?

Email the lms@letran-calamba.edu.ph with the subject ‘Reset Password for Knightmail, MS Teams, Canvas’, whichever is applicable.

I already paid the downpayment for my tuition fee / I already paid my tuition fee in full, why I still haven’t received my Knightmail, MS Office 365 / MS Teams, and/or Canvas accounts

Please be informed that the creation of Knightmail, MS Office 365 / MS Teams, and/or Canvas accounts, as well as enrolling of students to courses/subjects in Canvas will be within one to two working days after the enrolment has been validated in the Letran Calamba School System (LSS). You will only be considered as ‘officially enrolled’ once your payment is validated in the LSS.

What does ‘validated in LSS’ mean?

Validated in LSS means that the payment you made through bank or payment centers is already posted in the Letran Calamba School System by the Cashier’s Office.

I am already officially enrolled, and one to two working days have already passed, why can’t I see my courses / subject in Canvas yet? / Why are my courses in Canvas incomplete?

Your teachers / instructors should ‘Publish’ your course to make it accessible to students. You may notify the Dean’s Office so that they can remind the faculty to ‘publish’ their courses / subjects.

Where are the links for my online classes (for College)?

If you are not notified by your instructors through an email or a private message, online class link is posted in the ‘Announcements’ section on Canvas.

Who will add me to classes/teams in MS Teams?

Creation of classes / teams in MS Teams will be at the discretion of your teachers / instructors. Ask your teachers / instructors about it.

The MS Teams is asking me for approval when I log in to MS Teams, how can I approve it?

You must approve it using the Authentication app installed on your phone. Make sure that your MS Teams account is paired with the Authentication app or you may verify it through the code sent by Microsoft to your mobile device.

Why can’t I open the Video Tutorial, Quick Guides, and conducted training recording links provided by the EdTech?

You must access them using your MS Office 365 account.

What should I do if there is an error with my Knightmail, MS Office 365 / MS Teams, and/or Canvas accounts?

Email a screenshot or screen recording of the error message to lms@letran-calamba.edu.ph

What’s taking the EdTech Unit so long to reply to my inquiries or concerns on email or FB page?

The office hours of the EdTech Unit are from Monday to Friday (except Holidays), from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The emails received within the office hours shall be prioritized. If you emailed within the working hours and they did not respond immediately, they are most likely attending to numerous queries and concerns for that day. Rest assured that they will get back to you as soon as they become available.
