We are delighted to share the success of the presentation of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Campaign for Lumban, Laguna, a meaningful collaboration between the UST Tourism Management students and the Hospitality and Tourism Management students of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. This academic partnership highlighted innovative marketing strategies, cultural appreciation, and community tourism promotion for Lumban, proudly known as the Embroidery Capital of the Philippines.
The event was graced with the presence of distinguished guests and administrators, including Rev. Fr. Ferdinand L. Bautista, O.P., PhD, Regent of UST CTHM; Asst. Prof. Christine Concepcion C. Fajardo, Chairperson of the UST Tourism Management Program; Mr. Arnulfo Ricardo A. Butiong; Ms. Marites Castro, Regional Director of Department of Tourism IV-A; and representatives from the Municipality of Lumban led by Hon. Mayor Belen Raga.
Letran Calamba proudly hosted the event, represented by Ms. Eloisa Genota, Director of the Human Resource Department; Dr. Carmel N. Hemedez, Dean of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management; and Mr. Julian Roman Bautista, STHM professor, whose leadership and support contributed greatly to the program’s success.
