"Innovation Horizons" Seminar Empowers Southern Tagalog Researchers for Collaborative Solutions

The Department of Science and Technology - Southern Tagalog Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST STCIEERD) conducted a seminar-workshop with a theme of Innovation Horizons: Empowering Consortium Members through Design and Futures Strategies on March 20-21, last March 20-21, 2025 at Hortz Hotels and Resorts, Tagaytay City.

The 2-day capacity-building activity aims to integrate Design Thinking and Futures Thinking to empower STCIEERD member institutions in enhancing their research capabilities, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and developing sustainable solutions for regional and national development.

The event were attended by faculty participants from the School of Computer Studies and Technology, specifically, Ms. Glodelyn Ocfemia, and Ms. Lucita Gamboa and the Research Department personnel who were part of the working committee where Ms. Magnolia Quaitchon and Ms. Mary Grace S. Yanoria were in charge of the registration while Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera introduced the speaker for the 2nd day for the said event.
