HONORING EXCELLENCE: LETRAN CALAMBA CELEBRATES BOARD PLACER TRIUMPH

The St. Albert the Great Chapel of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba was alive with gratitude, inspiration, and a palpable sense of achievement on October 26, 2025, as the community gathered to celebrate one of its brightest alumni. The occasion was truly remarkable: Mr. James Gabriel M. De Mesa, 6th Placer Nationwide in the September 2025 Psychometrician Licensure Examination, was publicly recognized for his outstanding accomplishment.

Leading the celebration was Rector and President Rev. Fr. Roman L. Santos, O.P., who personally awarded Mr. De Mesa a financial grant of recognition. Beyond being a token of appreciation, this grant represents Letran Calamba’s tangible support for his continued graduate studies, turning his remarkable achievement into a stepping stone for further growth. The awarding, held during the Thanksgiving Mass for the latest Letranite Board Passers, was witnessed by Sunday Massgoers, allowing the broader community to share in the pride and inspiration sparked by this accomplishment.

The chapel radiated joy as newly licensed Letranite Psychometricians, Psychologists, and Electronics Engineer also joined in heartfelt thanksgiving.

The ceremony was more than an awarding; it was a celebration of triumph, a reminder that success is achieved through a combination of faith, hard work, and guidance from mentors. The smiles, applause, and prayers of thanksgiving created a vivid tapestry of inspiration for all present, reinforcing the Colegio’s belief that excellence should not only be recognized but also nurtured and supported.

This celebration reflects Letran Calamba’s enduring mission: to form men and women of conscience, discipline, and excellence; individuals who bring honor not only to their alma mater but also to God and country.
