Letran Calamba Conducts OPLAN Midterm Review to Assess Institutional Performance

On January 23, 2026, the Office of the Rector and President, through the Research, Quality Management, and Planning Department – Planning Office (RQMPD), convened the OPLAN Midterm Review at the Rector’s Hall, Letran Calamba. Facilitated by Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera, Senior Director of RQMPD, the session brought together the Colegio’s administrators to evaluate operational progress and ensure sustained alignment with strategic objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The review featured a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of 2nd Quarter KPI achievements across the Office of the Rector and President, Academics, Religious Education, Mission, and Identity (REMI), and Administration & Finance divisions. The discussion also focused on the implementation status of institutional strategies, enabling the body to distinguish between successful initiatives and those requiring further support. A comparative analysis of the 1st and 2nd Quarter performance was also presented to measure the institution’s growth trajectory relative to its annual targets.

To reinforce institutional accountability, the review emphasized a collective commitment to fulfilling all deliverables before the end of the academic year. The Midterm Review concluded with a collaborative discussion of observations gathered during OPLAN’s monitoring. Formal recommendations were proposed to address operational bottlenecks, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation. Fr. Roman L. Santos, OP, the Rector and President, provided his insights after the presentation.

Finally, the program recognized excellence by honoring departments with the highest KPI achievements and those that successfully implemented their strategies.
