𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵-𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗗𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀
The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba School of Nursing demonstrated that its students are truly research-ready, actively participating in the 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗠𝗗𝗖𝗢𝗡) 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
Under the theme “G.O.L.D.E.N,” the congress served as a premier platform for showcasing how the science and practice of nursing have evolved through innovative, evidence-based discourse.
Our students engaged with the local and international nursing research arena across two intensive days:
Day 1 (Virtual): Level 3 and Level 4 students and nursing faculty attended via Zoom to learn from distinguished global speakers.
Day 2 (On-site): Our Level 4 students, accompanied by their professor Ms. Analin P. Bacelonia, MAN, RN, represented the Colegio at the GT Hall Auditorium, Manila Tytana Colleges in Pasay City.
The event highlighted the specialized competencies of our Nursing Letranites, with several groups presenting high-impact studies:
𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝟯): Ms. Ivy Bachiller was recognized for her outstanding presentation of her study: "The Intensity of Hustle Culture on Work-Life Integration of Millennial Nurses in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), General Ward, and Emergency Room (ER)."
𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Represented by Ms. Chalcea Simpliciano, Adrian S. Medina, and Beathina Mae S. Pelayo, this group presented their study: "Self-Reported Quality of Life Among Operating Room Nurses at a Secondary Private Hospital in Calamba City, Laguna."
𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Ms. Tara Dominique Lasian and Mr. Michael C. Mustaza showcased their work on: "Risk Factors and Treatment Regimen of Non-Communicable Diseases Among Adult Residents of Brgy. San Jose in Calamba City."
