CALABARZON Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony

Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba proudly stands with DOST CALABARZON and the National Nutrition Council (NNC) in advancing community development through proper nutrition, research, and technological innovation. During the CALABARZON Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony held on October 15, 2026, at Hotel Casiana and Events Center in Tagaytay City, Letran Calamba was recognized as a valued partner in building healthier and more empowered communities.

Through the synergy of its research expertise and Information Technology capabilities, Letran Calamba developed NutriSys PH, an innovative digital solution designed to help Local Government Units (LGUs) monitor the nutritional status of their communities and make data-driven decisions for more responsive and effective nutrition programs.

Beyond technological innovation, this initiative strengthens collaboration between Letran Calamba and the mayors and local government leaders of various cities and municipalities across CALABARZON, fostering partnerships that translate research into meaningful community impact. This collaboration is particularly significant in Carmona and Sta. Rosa, where two of the few smart cities where NutriSys PH has been deployed to support local nutrition monitoring and evidence-based decision-making. By connecting academic research, technology, and local governance, Letran Calamba continues to support LGUs in developing more responsive nutrition initiatives and improving the well-being of the communities they serve.

This recognition reaffirms Letran Calamba’s commitment to transforming research into practical, technology-driven solutions through strong partnerships with DOST CALABARZON, NNC, and local government leaders, creating meaningful and lasting impact across CALABARZON and beyond.
