The Health Services Office in collaboration with the School of Nursing proudly hosted its health awareness program to Basic Education Department entitled: “Ready, Set, Grow! Understanding Your Body’s Changes”, an informative and empowering session designed for our Grade 6 students.
This activity aimed to guide young learners in understanding the physical, emotional, and social changes they experience as they navigate the early stages of adolescence. Through clear, age-appropriate discussions, students gained valuable knowledge on puberty, personal hygiene, self-care, and developing a positive body image.
The session encouraged openness, confidence, and respect among students, helping them recognize that growing up is a natural and meaningful journey.
The Health Services Office remains committed to promoting student well-being through continuous health education programs that empower learners to grow confidently and healthy.
