The School of Education, Arts, and Sciences (SEAS) formerly known as the Arts and Sciences Department, was among the first academic departments of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. The first two programs that were offered were the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science major in Psychology under the supervision of the Arts and Sciences Department. The Education programs were placed under the Arts and Sciences Department and now it is known as The School of Education, Arts, and Sciences.
The School of Computer Studies and Technology underwent several changes in its name. It started in 1992 as Computer Science Division under the Arts and Sciences Department. When the BS Information Technology was offered in 1997, the division was rebaptized as Computer Science and Information Technology Division. It became a Unit in 2003 under its first Director, Dr. Corazon B. Rebong. In 2008, it was recognized as an Institute of Computer Studies and Technology. In 2010, the Institute was promoted as a School which led to the birth of the School of Computer Studies and Technology.
In January 2026, the School of Education, Arts, and Science and Technology (SEAST) was formed and is headed by its dean, Dr. Loriemel E. Ferrera. The merger of the SEAS and SCST is a strategic decision made in consideration of the changing technological and environmental factors. This merger envisions the department to address challenges related to equipping students with the skills necessary to meet the demands of the modern global workforce and embedding technological advancements into the curriculum of different academic disciplines. The different programs under SEAST are BS Psychology, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Secondary Education, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
