As part of the celebration of the 45th Founding Anniversary of the Letran Calamba, the Student Research Unit (SRU) under the Research Department of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba held its annual Student Research Colloquium today, April 4, 2024 from 9:00am to 12:00nn at the M Building, Room 301 of Letran Calamba.

The selected students from the School of Business, Management, and Accountancy and School of Tourism and Hospitality Management presented their final research paper to their co-students to give knowledge and background on how a research paper/presentation be presented to everyone. The students will gain experience in presenting research findings in a professional settings and develop communication and public speaking skills.

With the support for the Schools mentioned, Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera, Senior Director of Research Department,  gave her Opening Remarks to encourage the students to love and enjoy research and with the invaluable support from the Dean of School Business, Management, and Accountancy, Dr. Heidi R. Maneclang and the Dean of School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dr. Carmel N. Hemedez. We would also like to acknowledge the presence of the following faculty: Dr. Philip Manuel T. Padayao, Ms. Kamlesh Devi C. Dhutti, Mr. Julian Roman Bautista, and Ms. Karen Lat.

For the Closing Remarks, Ms. Priscila Gwendolyn R. Caparas, Research Moderator for School of Business, Management, and Accountancy, gave an inspirational message to all the students of who attended the colloquium.
