Mission

The School of Business, Management and Accountancy commits to develop responsive and productive professionals and entrepreneurs by providing quality business curricular programs that are imbued with Filipino, Dominican and Christian attitudes and principles.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The School of Business, Management, and Accountancy shall provide quality and relevant business education to its students and eventually produce graduates more responsive and industry ready in both local and international settings.

 

QUALITY OBJECTIVES

1. To continually deliver quality business education through outcomes-based instruction and quality departmental services to the stakeholders.

2. To continually elevate the accreditation level of the business education curricular programs.

3. To strengthen the technical and professional competencies of administrators, faculty members, and support personnel.

Programs

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) aims to train individuals to become competent, ethical, and global financial and accounting practitioners. Three to five years after graduation, the BSA alumni shall be able:

  1.  Become a competent and ethical professional accountant capable of making a positive contribution to the profession and to society throughout their career.
  2.  Develop and maintain an attitude of lifelong learning, which is essential for adapting to the rapid changes in the accounting profession and for maintaining professional competence.
  3.  Possess a foundation of professional knowledge, skills, values, ethics, and attitudes that enables:  (a) continuous learning and adaptation; (b) problem identification and resolution; (c) ethical application and knowledge; and (d) evidence-based decision-making.
  4.  Support strategic and operational decisions by various stakeholders (e.g., regulatory bodies, investors, creditors, management, and employees) through the presentation and analysis of financial data and business information.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management (BSBA HRM) aims to train individuals to become competent and ethical Human Resource practitioners. Three to five years after graduation, the BSBA HRM alumni shall:

  1. Assume supervisory and/or managerial responsibilities within their organization;
  2. Pursue graduate studies in business and management;
  3. Manage a business;
  4. Perform human resource development functions proficiently;
  5. Serve as change leaders in organizational development;
  6. Provide human resource consulting to different organizations;
  7. Serve as labor relations mediator;
  8. Contribute to the economic development as responsible partners of the government and stakeholders through managing business organizations where they portray the roles of strategic business partners and change agents and/or consultants, as entrepreneurs, or managers of government agencies such as those in the department of labor and employment; and
  9. Impart and share expertise to those in the academe and those pursuing continuing professional development.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management (BSBA MKM) aims to train individuals to become competent and ethical marketing and management practitioners. Three to five years after graduation, the BSBA MKM alumni shall:

  1. Assume supervisory and/or managerial responsibilities within their organization;
  2. Pursue graduate studies in business and management;
  3. Manage a business;
  4. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for any type of product, service or business competently and guided by Christian values and ethical practices;
  5. Serve the greater good by creating innovative and beneficial products and services for the Filipino people;
  6. Utilize the marketing mix to solve marketing problems and identify marketing opportunities;
  7. Conduct marketing research and utilize marketing intelligence system in organizing people and resources to create value.
  8. Contribute to the economic development as responsible partners of the government and stakeholders through managing and/or establishing income generating centers where they portray the roles of strategic business partners and change agents and/or consultants, as entrepreneurs, or managers in government agencies such as those in trade and industries; and
  9. Impart and share expertise to those in the academe and those pursuing continuing professional development.

Three to five years after graduation, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) alumni shall:

  1. Analyze challenges and respond with creativity and innovation as they manage successfully the daily operations in the workplace; 
  2. Communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment; 
  3. Keep updated through training, graduate studies, professional affiliation, and/or practice; 
  4. Integrate Christian service and professional ethics in various areas of their career and profession; 
  5. Assume competent management role in the hospitality business and other related enterprise; and
  6. Impart and share expertise to those in the academe and those pursuing continuing professional development.

Three to five years after graduation, the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) alumni shall:

  1. Analyze challenges and respond with creativity and innovation as they manage successfully the daily operations in the workplace; 
  2. Communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment; 
  3. Keep updated through training, graduate studies, professional affiliation, and/or practice; 
  4. Integrate Christian service and professional ethics in various areas of their career and profession; 
  5. Assume competent management role in the hospitality business and other related enterprise; and
  6. Impart and share expertise to those in the academe and those pursuing continuing professional development.
