PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Three to five years after graduation, the Letran Calamba Computer Engineering alumni shall:

  • Advance their practice in the field of computer engineering or information technology;
  • Acquire a high level position in the same field or related endeavor;
  • Manifest proper ethical principles and values founded on Filipino, Dominican and Christian orientation;
  • Contribute goodwill in the country and other nations as well; and
  • Pursue advance education and professional training to qualify as world class professionals.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES

The graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BS CpE) program must be able to:

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering appropriate to the field of practice;
  • Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
  • Design, build, improve, and install systems or processes which are efficient, effective, as well as robust to meet desired needs within identified constraints in accordance with standards;
  • Work effectively as an individual or as a member or leader in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
  • Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems;
  • Practice professional, social and ethical responsibility;
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English language
  • Analyze the effects of engineering solutions in a comprehensive context;
  • Engage in life-long learning;
  • Apply knowledge of contemporary issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice;
