The student research outcome titled “Construction of Comprehensive Examination for BS Psychology as Preparation towards the Licensure Examination for Psychometricians: A Basis for Review” was recognized as Best Research Paper during the 1st Psychological Societies Association on Mental Health (PSAMH) Student Congress. It was held on November 27, 2015 at the Centro Escolar University, Manila. The student-researchers were Jorge Manuel C. Laude, Darmaine S. Arambulo, and Raychelle Mary P. Hernandez.

Relative to the faculty research, some of the faculty research outcomes presented in the international fora won research awards. The research study conducted by Ms. Mita Parocha, Mr. Ernesto Esguerra Jr., and Ms. Celeste Hular titled “Solid Waste Management Program: The Grade School Experience” was awarded as Best Research Paper. It was presented in the 2015 Summer International Symposium on Teaching, Education, and Learning (STEL) in Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan. Likewise, a study on “Student Learning Outcomes in Professional Courses in HRM Program in Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba A.Y. 2014-2015” conducted by Ms. Carmel Hemedez won the Best Abstract Award during the 3rd Asian Conference on Multidisciplinary Research in Higher Education (ACMRHE 2015).

The RD is becoming active in participating in national research competitions. Noteworthy, faculty researchers, namely Dr. Zandra N. Maningas, Dr. Roberto DV. Revilla, and Asst. Prof. Floricon V. Encabo, won first place and second place in the 2014 and 2015 PACUCOA National Research Competition, respectively. The winning research entry during the 25th PACUCOA General Assembly in 2015 was “Constructing the Constructs of Quality Management and Work Productivity from the Lenses of Two Generational Cohorts,” while the winning research entry in the 26th PACUCOA General Assembly in 2016 was “Setting Agenda for Quality Management Research in Asia (1993-2014) through Systematic Review of Literature.”

RD strives to be more innovative by co-hosting the World Research Festival (WRF) with International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) for two consecutive years. The 3rd WRF was held in Cebu City on May 1-3, 2014, then the 4th WRF was held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan on May 1-3, 2015. In these two events, seven faculty members from the Colegio were able to present their research outcomes. Moreover, faculty researchers were given an award by IAMURE. Dr. Roberto DV. Revilla was awarded as Best Research Leader in 2015, and Dr. Zandra N. Maningas was awarded Best in Paper Presentation in 2016.

Further, RD hosted the 10th Network of CALABARZON Educational Institutions, Inc. (NOCEI) Research Forum on October 28, 2015. A total of 18 schools and 157 faculty researchers participated in this forum. Twenty-two faculty researchers from the Colegio presented their research outcomes.
