Guidance and Counseling

A.1. COUNSELING SERVICE

Individual and group counseling are available to help them articulate their academic, personal, interpersonal, emotional, or career concerns as they respond to day-to-day experiences. During this time of the pandemic, where physical distancing is highly encouraged, our department offers online counseling to students, employees, and stakeholders.

A.1.1. GUIDELINES ON AVAILING ONLINE AND TELECOUNSELING SERVICES

Clients can contact their counselors through the following platforms:

Once the counselor has reached out to the client, the client will be asked about which platform he/she prefers for onsite/online/tele-counseling.

A.2. TESTING SERVICE

  • Psychological tests are given periodically to assist the students to determine their self-concept and attitudes, personality type, achievement level, and progress.
  • Intelligence tests, aptitude and achievement tests, personality inventories, measures of interest are administered to help them find out more significant insights and learn about themselves.
  • The office also assists in the screening process of faculty and employee applicants through a position based on a set of psychological tests.
