International Relations Department
Philosophy and Objectives
In the midst of ASEAN integration and globalization, and to operationalize one of the Colegio's goals to be one of the internationally recognized educational institutions, the International Relations Department (IRD) serves as the lead unit of the institution in forging partnerships with foreign higher education institutions (HEIs), international service providers, international development organizations, international funding institutions, and multi-national companies/corporations - the products/services of which may have direct/indirect relationship/impact with/to education). The areas of linkage/partnership/cooperation cut across all the academic and non-academic departments of the Colegio.
To be the Colegio's Center for International Affairs by 2020 promoting robust partnership with educational and specialized learning institutions abroad and international organizations
To bring the Colegio at the forefront of international cooperation through partnership and collaboration with educational institutions abroad and other relevant international organizations, especially in those areas of cooperation which cut across the academic and non-academic departments of the Colegio.
- To initiate and negotiate for formal agreement on international cooperation with foreign higher education institutions (HEIs), and other international institutions/organizations in the areas of instruction, research and innovation, culture, and community and extension;
- To provide overall coordination of related international programs, projects, and activities as implemented by various academic and non- academic departments in the Colegio.
