PACUCOA General Assembly 2019

“Quality Assurance: roadmap towards internationalization."


The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), held its 30th Annual General Assembly last December 2, 2019 at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. The theme for this year’s general assembly was “Quality Assurance: roadmap towards internationalization.” In the same occasion that was attended by representatives from accredited colleges and universities nationwide, Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba received the following awards from PACUCOA:

  1. Institution with the highest number of PACUCOA Level III Reaccredited programs in the Philippines;
  2. College with the second highest number of accredited programs in the Philippines;
  3. Institution that was granted autonomous status by CHED (CMO No. 12, s.2019); and
  4. Second place in the PACUCOA Case Study Competition (Case Study prepared and submitted by the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management or STHM).

In behalf of all the members of the Letran Calamba Community, Dr. Floricon V. Encabo, the Vice President for Academics (VPA), Dr. Christopher C. Mantillas, Director of the Quality Management Department (QMD), Dr. Corazon B. Rebong, Dean of the School of Computer Studies and Technology (SCST), and Ms. Eloisa A. Genota, the Colegio’s Registrar, received the four awards.
