Letran Calamba wins Global Performance Excellence Award

Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, a Catholic Dominican institution located in Calamba City, Laguna, is recognized as an exemplary educational institution of world class quality performance. It won Best in Class in the 2016 Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) and is a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management for the PA 18th          Award Cycle.

Letran Calamba is the first educational institution in the Philippines to be given the prestigious Global Performance Award.

GPEA awarding ceremonies will be held on November 21, 2016 at Rotorua, New Zealand. It will be conferred by Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO).

GPEA is a strategic enabling tool for global performance excellence. It strengthens the strategies and performance of organizations to succeed in the fast evolving global market place. Its process builds up awareness on performance excellence as an increasingly important tool towards global business success and sustainability. GPEA is managed by APQO, which is organized by National Quality Organizations in Asian and Pacific Rim countries, including the American Society for Quality. It was incorporated in the Philippines in 1985.
